Review:
Aqara Smart Plug - The best smart plug?
Conclusion:
With the intermediate plug you can switch a lamp on or off remotely. It does this using the wireless Zigbee protocol. With the controllers we tested, this all works as it should, except with the Philips Hue HUB. This is often the case with a non-Philips plug. Adding the other controllers was easy and quick.
It has also built in the ability to view current and total energy consumption.
At the top is a button to turn it on / off manually. When you turn it on, the LED on the front lights up. It's nice that it's super small, so it doesn't illuminate your entire room unintentionally.
Are there any disadvantages to this intermediate plug? Yeah, he's kinda crass which is a shame. On the other hand, if you plug it behind your cupboard or couch, it won't matter that much.
SO: Are you looking for a reasonably cheap intermediate plug with energy measurement? Then the Aqara Smart Plug is definitely an option.
