How long does the battery last?
The battery lasts at least 2 years or 20,000 activations. Battery status and usage are tracked by Bold and displayed in the app.
Based on this, the owner of the lock receives a notification well in advance (about six months) when the battery needs to be replaced and can optionally be delivered directly via Bold. With long-term ignoring of notifications, the use of the lock and the app is adjusted to prevent the battery from running out.

What size should the door (cylinder) have?
The Bold Smart Cylinder fits all doors with an inner size of 30 to 35 mm. The outer size can be increased to 45 mm by the included extension pieces

What to do if my smartphone is empty?
The Bold Smart Cylinder is completely keyless, even if you have forgotten your smartphone or if its battery is empty. In that case you can always open the door with a backup PIN. You can generate this code yourself if the Bold has been installed in the app and enter it by turning the outside knob (you must have the code with you somewhere).

Why can't I use the codes? I don't see them in the APP?
You need to install the APP with the code option.
