The operation of this lock is not very exciting, but it is slightly different than with other locks. As already mentioned, this lock has no motor. Because of this, he won't open the door for you. He just unlocks it. So you have to open it yourself. You should see it when the key is in the lock, then your door will not open and you have to turn the key. This is how it works with this lock, but without the key.

APP:

We will now look a little further at the APP. You can of course unlock the door via the APP.

You can also give other users access to the lock via the sharing section. They can also unlock the door via the APP. Useful if you need several people and want to monitor who can open the door. For example, if you rent out your home through Airbnb.

There is a log, here you can see when the door was activated and by whom.

You can reach the settings via the radar icon. Here you can see the battery status, turn the sound on and off, turn the inside button on or off and set the time that the lock is active. Here you can also provide the lock with a new firmware. In my case, there was new firmware, but I didn't get it installed. After a few tries, he took it.

Besides that you can operate this lock via an APP, you can also open it with a code. You cannot set this code with the main APP, but you need to download a separate APP for this.

In the APP you can create 3 backup pin codes.

Once you have created the codes, you can use them by turning the displayed number to the left and then to the right. This operation is the same as a safe. So in my example of code 1: I have to turn it 4x left, 3x right, 8x left, 6x right and 7x left.

Please note that there is a separate APP where you can arrange this. I personally find this quite confusing. The reason according to Bold is that you can choose whether you want to use the codes. I would still choose to have a tick in the APP for this. If necessary with an extra password.
