Review:
Eco-DIM.10 - Smart LED Dimmer Module - Z-Wave
Conclusion:
With this Eco-DIM.10 you can make a dumb lamp smart. The great thing about this module is that you can install it behind your existing wall switch. This way you keep the appearance of your switching material the same and you do not see that you are smart.
The great thing about this construction is that you can also continue to use the wall switch. He updates the status to the controller and does not remove the power from the lamp as is the case with a Philips HUE lamp. The connected wall switch must be a pulse switch to use all functionalities.
You can connect different types of LED lamps of up to 250W.
The dimmer is a bit large in terms of size, so installation can be a bit difficult if you do not have such a deep flush-mounted box. The connection is done by means of a 2 wire or 3 wire connection (without or with blue wire).
At the front of the dimmer you can set the minimum, maximum and dimming speed. We tested this dimmer with different lamps and they all worked well.
It is for sale for € 64.95.
So: Are you looking for a decent dimmer that just works? Then choose Eco-DIM!
Both 2 and 3 wires can be connected (with and without blue wire)
250W of maximum power
Decent size (difficult to build in with a 40mm deep flush-mounted box)
Quite pricey
