Review:
Fibaro Heat Controller Radiator Thermostat
Conclusion:
With this Fibaro Heat Controller you get a tap thermostat that you can control remotely. You can automatically ensure that rooms that do not need to be kept warm do not.
This tap can determine the temperature by opening or closing it. Handy in, for example, the bathroom which you only want to be warm in the morning or a bedroom where you only want the heating on in the evening.
The wireless communication works via the Z-Wave plus protocol. It is powered by the built-in battery which can be charged via a USB connection. The tap has an automatic calibration process so that the correct open and closed position is always set.
The tap can of course also be operated manually, whereby the set values are also sent to your smart home system. You cannot read the set temperature as a number on the tap, but you can see this through the color by means of the built-in LED. Purple is very warm and blue is cold.
It has a slim design and is no bigger than a normal faucet. Fixing is not very complicated because it is a matter of loosening the old tap and screwing the new one back on. Various adapters are included so that it always fits your radiator.
A separate temperature sensor is included to properly determine the temperature of the room.
