Fibaro Walli Dimmer

Installation on the Fibaro Home Center 3:

The next controller is the new one from Fibaro the HC3. This Walli must of course work well with this because it is their own product.

We start with connecting the dimmer, you can do this through the supplied schematic. You can use it with a 2 or 3 wire system, so without and with ZERO wire (blue).

After resetting the power, the dimmer will first calibrate. It is important that you leave it alone for a while and that you have connected the lamp that you will eventually use. The LED ring will light up red and then flash blue. You see the lamp go on / off for a moment and sometimes blink. If everything is successful, the LED will light up green and then light up white.

Now we can add the dimmer to the HC3 by logging in and going to the settings and then clicking on devices. We click on the blue plus at the top right and select Z-wave. Then tick "add node secure" and press start adding. A bar will appear at the bottom stating that you have to put the Walli into learning mode.

You can do this by pressing the on button 3x in quick succession. The LED will light up Yellow and then turn white in color. Below the bar I see all additions appear which indicates that the addition is successful.

After a while I see all functionalities appear on my devices. As expected, everything works as it should. Finally, I immediately give the Walli the correct name and put it in a room so that I do not lose it immediately.
