Frient Intelligent Heat Alarm

Installation on the Homey:

We are going to install this sensor on the Homey. This Smart Home controller works with APPs to install devices. If we look in the APP store we see an APP from Friend so the installation should not cause too many problems.

We start by logging into the web interface and clicking the plus sign at the top. Next we search for "Friend" and select the heat alarm.

Now the Homey will install the APP and ask to reset the sensor. We now unscrew the bracket from the sensor and remove the tab near the battery. The sensor was found immediately afterwards.

If this is not the case, you have to reset the sensor. You can do this by holding the button on the back for 15 seconds until the LED starts flashing several times in succession.

One last note: it may take a while for the values to arrive.

We create a flow that when the alarm goes off, a push notification is sent to my phone. As a trigger we use the "...alarm turned on" and then we say in the "Then" that he should send a notification. We also add the name of the sensor by using a tag. You can select these by clicking on the label icon.
