Hombli Set
The Smart Bulb - RGB & CCT (lamp)
The lamp is well packed in a standard lamp box and comes with instructions for use. This LED lamp is dimmable, has white and colored light (you can choose from 16 million colors), has an E27 fitting. The great thing about this extra white LED is that you can make a nice warm (or cold) color.
Consumption is 9W and it emits 800 lumens of light. As far as I am concerned, the quality falls between the Philips Hue and the Ikea TRÅDFRI, where the HUE is top quality and the TRÅDFRI is a reasonable quality.
What is striking when you hold it is that it is super light. Seems like there's nothing in it :)
It is for sale for € 24.95. Hombli also has a version with only a white LED and a filament version for when your lamp is in sight.

Add in the App
In the main screen of the Hombli App we select right above the + button and under Lighting we select the colored Smart Bulb. We get the message to turn on the lamp and “Tap continuously” until the lamp flashes.
After this we have to enter the WiFi network and password, this lamp also only works with the 2.4 GHz network. After the confirmation, the APP will search for the lamp and find it immediately and indicate that the lamp has been added successfully. If we click on Done, you immediately go to the main screen of the smart bulb, I go back to the main screen and there is the smart bulb with a nice photo icon of the product. In addition to the name, also the on and off button that can be used immediately.
The lamp responds quickly when I turn it on and off. Completely as it should be.
Overview in the APP
We run through all the possibilities of the smart bulb in the APP. In the main screen we see the device “Hombli Smart Bulb” with an on and off button next to it. Below the name we see a “Quick access” option, when we click on it, we see the brightness and temperature that we can adjust immediately when we click on it.
When we click on the Smart Bulb name, we enter the main screen of the smart bulb. At the top we have three tabs; White, Color and Scene. At the bottom a Timer, on and off button and Schedule. We are in the White tab and can adjust the light from warm white to cold white and adjust the strength.
Here you can choose all the colors of the rainbow, the strength and the brightness of the color. When adjusting, the lamp itself changes immediately and if you use this tab again later, you start with the color you used last. The whole reacts quickly and well.
Timer:
The timer and schedule work the same as that of the smart socket.
Setting:
At the top right is also the pen with a line and this brings us to the settings of the bulb. Just like with the socket you can click on the name and then adjust the icon with a photo that is on the mobile. Here you have also lost the original icon if you have chosen a picture. Below that we can change the name of the socket and finally you can indicate the space at location if you have created it.
Back in the settings screen we select Device information and see the different network names, time zone and WiFi strength.
With Shortcuts and Automation we see an overview in which shortcuts and scenarios the socket are used.
Third-party control indicates with which things you can link.
Below that Offline Notification for when the bulb can no longer be found.
At Share devices you get an overview of the family members who have access to the bulb. At the bottom immediately the option to share the socket by clicking on Share this device.
Create group gives you the option to put different devices in a group so that you can operate them all at the same time.
At FAQ you come to the page with frequently asked questions about the bulb.
With Check device network you can do a network test to see how the bulb is connected to the wifi connection.
Below that you can use Check for firmware update to see if you have the latest software on the socket. With the bulb there is also no option to do an update automatically or manually. Finally you can remove the lamp from the App with Remove device.
