Conclusion:

Hombli puts a series of beautiful products on the market which will be very easy to use by a starting user. That is also the strength of the system, everyone can work with it. Do you really want to go to extremes with automation? Then you will run into some limitations.

Nice about Hombli is that they have a wide range of products. This allows you to automate your home considerably in 1 eco system. Examples of products are a smart doorbell, various lamps, between plugs, door sensors and security cameras. The only product I miss is a motion detector, but given the developments at Hombli it will be available soon.

The quality of the products is simply very good, the software is accessible and easy to follow for the average user. In the software I occasionally miss some minor points, but this can of course be resolved in subsequent updates. All in all, a great alternative for people who do not want a controller, but still want to automate their home.

The support via the APP can still be improved, but the telephone support was very good. The help desk employee was friendly, helpful and responded quickly.

In terms of price, the Hombli is just below Philips HUE, so if you have several lamps, this can make a difference in the wallet.

A requirement for this product is that you have a good WiFi connection. The products cannot renew themselves (repeat), so they have to communicate directly with your router. This is not the case with other protocols (Z-Wave / Zigbee).

I am very satisfied with Hombli and of course secretly a bit proud that this comes from Dutch soil :) I am very curious which products they will come with in the future.
