Review:
Legrand - Valena Next - Starterskit
Voice control:
In a Smart Home system, control via speech is of course essential. To make this possible, you need a Google Home, Amazon Alexa or an Apple Homepod.
We will be testing this on a Google Home Mini.
To install:
To start the installation, we go to the Google Home APP, we see the gateway directly at the top to start the installation. If this is not the case, you can follow the steps below:
- Press the plus sign.
- Go to the "Set up device" section.
- And choose the bottom option "I've already installed something".
- Then search for Legrand and select Legrand - Netatmo - BTicino
- You will then be asked to log in (same data as the APP).
Now that the GH is connected to the gateway, see also my devices are in the right room.
Super cool such a link, but what can we do exactly?
We can ask the GH for the following matters:
"Hey Google..."
Turn on lamp x
"Hey Google..."
Turn off lamp x
"Hey Google..."
shutters open
Roller shutters 50%
If you have linked more types of devices, there are of course more options. Here you can find a complete list:

You can also start scenes which can be useful to start your line (for example when you go to sleep).
