Review:
Lidl Smart Lighting Start KIT with colour Bulbs E27 - LivarnoLux/SliverCrest
Google Home Link:
Control via speech should of course not be missing in the Smart Home setup. Lidl has also provided this through a link with Google Home. You can pair any GH device, so it doesn't matter which version you have.
We will also install it again and test the operation.
Installation:
The first step is to make sure your Google Home is installed. You can read how to do that here. After this we have to link the GH to the cloud environment of Lidl (Tuya). You can do this by logging in to the Home APP from Google and clicking on the plus sign at the top left.
After this, you choose set up device and then for Works with Google. If you then search for Lidl and select it, it will make the link. You establish this link by logging into the cloud environment of Lidl. After you have done this you will receive a notification and you will see it appear on your devices.
When I now go to the home of the APP, I see my lamps appear there. A tip is to put your lamps in a room first.
The following devices can be paired:
- Lidl adapter
- Lidl lamps
Control:
For example, we can now switch on a lamp via speech. You get the following commands at your disposal:
hey google,
"Turn lamp x on (or off)"
"Turn all lights on (or off)"
"Change the color of lamp x to red"
And many more standard GH commands are available to you.
