Review:

Neo Coolcam Door sensor

Conclusion:

With this sensor you can detect whether a door/window is open or closed. Ideal to see if a break-in is trying to get in. There is also a tamper alarm present so if the burglar wants to use the sensor, it will give an alarm to the controller.

In addition to this detection, it also has the ability to measure temperature and humidity.

It works via the Z-Wave Plus protocol and has the new 700 chip built in. This is not of much use at the moment because the vast majority of smart home controllers do not yet support it. This will of course change in the future. Thanks to this new chip, it handles energy consumption better, your range is better and the whole thing is safer.

It is for sale for around 20 euros, which makes it affordable.

Another plus is that it can be powered by a USB adapter and not with the supplied CR123A battery. This of course saves changing batteries.

If I have to include a minus point, then it is the size of this sensor. It is quite large with its 82x27x16mm.
