Review:
Neo Coolcam Motion Sensor (5in1)
Installation on Domoticz:
The next system where we will install the sensor is that of Domoticz. This is a free open source Smart Home system that can run on different hardware. We use an RP2 with an Aeotec USB Z-Wave stick.
The first step is to unscrew the sensor cover on the back and remove the tabs from the batteries. Now we can log in via the Domoticz web interface. We go to the menu item "setup" and to "hardware". Then press the setup at the Aeon Labs controller and press "include node secure". There will be a pop-up that the controller is in learning mode.
Now press and hold the add button on the back until the LED lights up white. When we release it I can see the LED flashing blue indicating it has been added. Do not wait too long to release after the white LED, because then the addition will not succeed. The LED lights up 1x green and 1x red and I see it appear in Domoticz.
Now I can install the sensor in its final location.

Operation:
You get a motion detector, temperature, light and humidity sensor. When there is movement, the LED lights up blue, you can also turn this off via the parameters (see here). The temperature sensor gives a value of 26.2 degrees while my calibrated sensor (which is next to it) gives 27.1 degrees. So it is quite accurate.
Example event:
We create a scene where if movement is detected and the lux value is lower than 5, the lamp in the hall is switched on.
