Can you use this sensor outside?

Officially this is not possible, but there are people who use it under a carport.

How long will the battery last?

Battery consumption depends on many factors; are there many movements? Do you have the wake-up time set low? How often do temperature and lux measurements come in? Etc. With the standard settings and normal use, the battery will last 6 to 8 months.

What kind of battery goes in this sensor?

It contains a CR123A battery, 3.0V DC which is used in more sensors.

Can the LED also be turned off?

Yes, this is possible (see configuration/parameters)

Can I also connect this sensor to a power supply?

No, this is not possible.

What is the range of this sensor?

According to the manual, a range of up to 7 meters is possible and there is a viewing angle of 110 degrees.

My battery is empty quickly, why is this?

Battery problems are often caused by too little wake up time. But having updates sent to the controller too often does not help either. Make sure you find a good balance in this.
