Qubino Luxy Smart Light

Conclusion:

With the Luxy Smart Light you not only get a smart light in your home, but also an alarm. In addition to being able to display 16 million colors, it can also sound a beep/alarm.

Super handy of course to connect to your smoke detector or the alarm of your home, for example.

In addition to the above options, you can also connect a motion sensor or temperature sensor to the inputs. Nice addition.

The Luxy fits is a standard flush-mounted box, please note that these must be at least 50mm deep. Qubino even recommends 60mm deep. You need a blue (N) wire to power it. You can get this from an adjacent socket.

It comes with some sort of glass-like frame with a button in the middle. This button is touch sensitive, so there are no physical buttons. Unfortunately, you cannot combine it with your existing switching material. So making 1 whole is unfortunately not possible. You will have to use this Luxy stand-alone.

We tested the Luxy with various controllers, whereby the alarm only worked with the Homey and this was not the case with all other controllers. At HASS we couldn't do anything with the Luxy.

Qubino indicates that it is still working on support. So hopefully this will change in the short term.

Finally, I want to report that the Luxy is for sale for € 129.95, which makes it quite expensive. But on the other hand, you are not going to fill your entire house with this smart lamp.
