SwitchBot Curtain & Meter & Hub & Button

Google Home / Alexa:

Of course it would be nice if your curtains would open by calling out to them. Well, you can with the SwitchBot. You can connect it to the Google Home or Alexa. We only have a GH so will add him to this.

Add Google Home:

The first step is to make sure your curtains are connected to the internet. For this you need the Hub from SwitchBot. If this is successful, start the GH APP and press the plus icon at the top left.

Then press "Setup device" and then "Works with Google". Now you search SwitchBot and give Google permission by logging in with your SwitchBot credentials.

Succes

After adding, I can see the curtains, TV and meter and can query/operate them.

We can ask the GH for the following matters:

Lighting:
"Hey Google..."
Open "name of curtain"
Close "name of curtain"

Temperature/Humidity Meter:
"Hey Google..."
What is the temperature in space x
What is the humidity in space x

TV/Infrared:
"Okay Google..."
Turn the TV on (or off)

Air conditioning:
"Okay Google..."
Turn on "name air conditioner"
Set the temperature of the "name air conditioner" to 22 degrees
Lower the temperature "name air conditioning" by 2 degrees

Scene:
"Hey Google..."
Start scene x
