Now that we've added all the devices, we can make it really smart. Let me get straight to the point, because we can leave that out to make it really smart.
The fact is that you can only use devices that are connected to the Cloud. Now you can get over that, but what's annoying is that you can't use all devices as triggers. Earlier in this article I mentioned as an example that when I turn on my TV, the curtains have to close. Unfortunately I can't trigger on the TV.
Due to this limitation, you only have the following conditions at your disposal:
- Manual start
- Schedule (day/hours)
- The meter (temperature/humidity)
So there aren't that many.
For example, what could you make with these scenes?
If you have multiple curtains, you could close them all with 1 click. Or you could consider that if the temperature in a room rises above a certain value, then the curtains have to be closed.
As soon as more devices are supported, there are of course several options and this scene maker really has added value.
