SwitchBot Curtain & Meter & Hub & Button

Opportunities:

You can of course open and close the curtains, that seems logical to me. But the SwitchBot has a few more smart features. We're going to see them.

Light sensor:

The SwitchBot has a built-in light sensor. You guessed it, it can measure how much light there is outside. You will think of; Yes, all nice and nice but what can I do with this? Well, because he knows if it's dark outside, he can automatically close (or open) your curtains.

The light sensor works with different levels. A higher number means more light. So you can say that if it is higher than 5, the curtains open (0%) or if it is lower than 2, the curtains close (it is dark).

Delay:

You can set a delay before the curtains open or close. No idea why you would want this.

Schedule:

In addition to operating on light, you can also use a schedule. You can select a time and day of the week and indicate whether the curtains should be open or closed. There is also a possibility to, for example, open the curtains half way. If you want the SwitchBot to make less noise, you can choose a "silent mode", then opening it will make less noise, but it will also be slower.

Other settings:

You can now see it in the settings

Advanced settings:

  • Touch and go: You can switch on or off that when you pull the curtains, the motor should automatically follow you.
  • Light: you can switch the light sensor on or off.

Calibration:

  • To calibrate the whole

Log:

  • You can see through this screen when the curtains have been opened or closed.

Firmware:

  • Ability to view firmware and battery data.
