Thinka

Google Home and Alexa:

With a good hub, control via speech should of course not be missing. With the Thinka you get the option to control this via Google Home, Alexa or Sire. We don't have Alexa ourselves, but we do have a Google Home, so we're going to link it.

The first step is to enable the cloud option via the web interface. So realize, if you turn this on, that the data is also sent to the cloud.

Then start the Google Home APP and follow the steps below:

  1. Press the plus sign.
  2. Go to the "Set up device" section.
  3. And choose the bottom option "I've already installed something".
  4. Then search for Thinka
  5. Then you will be asked for the Thinka Token if we have entered it, the GH is linked to the Thinka Cloud.

Such a link is very nice, but what can we do exactly?

We can ask the GH for the following matters:

Sensors:
"Hey Google..."
What is the temperature in space x
Is the door x open?

Relief:
"Hey Google..."
Turn on lamp x
Turn off lamp x
Set lamp x to a certain color
