Xiaomi/Honeywell Smoke Detector

Installation on the Homey:

First we will install this smoke detector on the Homey. This controller supports the Zigbee protocol and an APP has been made for this device. So adding it shouldn't be too much of a problem.

The first step is to place the battery in the smoke detector. After this, he will perform a self-test and will give some beeps. We'll let this run its course for a while before we add it. When it has finished beeping, we start the Homey APP and click on the plus sign and search for Honeywell. Next, we need to select the Aqara & Xiaomi APP. This is where he falls.

Now we have to press the button on the smoke detector 3 times in a row. It beeps with every press. Make sure that the smoke detector is close to the Homey and that you do not press too quickly and wait until the beep has gone out.

Operation:

As soon as there is smoke, the smoke detector will send a signal to the Homey. It also transmits the amount of smoke.

Note: You can also specify the amount of smoke as conditions for the "AND". This could prevent false reporting.

Flow example:

I would like to receive a notification when the smoke detector goes off when I am not at home. For this I use the smoke detector as a trigger and use the presence function in the Homey in the "AND". If these conditions are met, I will send a notification to everyone.
