Xiaomi Mi Smart Plug

Installation on the Ikea TRÅDFRI gateway:

We are also going to test this plug from Mi together with the Ikea gateway. This supports Zigbee, which is an open protocol, but experience shows that this is not always the case and devices cannot be added that are not from Ikea itself. We will of course test this.

We start by logging into the APP and going to our settings (radar icon) and pressing manage lighting. At Ikea, a device must always be linked via another device, such as a remote control. We will also do this with this plug. To start adding we press the plus sign and select the plug-in switch. We then select the remote control. After this we press the button (of the plus) at the top for 5 seconds and then the button of the remote control for 10 seconds. I see the plug flashing red and blue and the light on the remote also flashing. The APP then gives a message that it has found a Lumi plug. But unfortunately it is immediately offline and I cannot operate it.
