Xiaomi Mi Smart Plug

Installation on the Philips HUE hub:

The Xiaomi Mi Smart plug is favorably priced compared to the Philips HUE plug, so it would of course be nice if we could use this plug to connect the Philips gateway. To test this, we first supply the plug with power and start the Philips HUE APP. Then we go to our settings and to accessories configuration. We then click on add and select the Hue Smart Plug. We then press the "search" button to start the pairing procedure. Now it is important to put the adapter plug in the learning position. You do this by holding the button at the top for 5 seconds. The LED will light up red and then start flashing blue after a while.

Unfortunately, he can't find the plug and so can't use it through the hub.
