RobbSmarrt Rotary dimmer Z-Wave 2-wire

Are you looking for a rotary dimmer that can be made smart? Then view this review.

There are several ways to make a lamp smart. For example, you can place a module behind your existing wall switch or turn a smart lamp into your luminaire. With this first option you often have to replace your wall switch with a pulse switch. With this pulse switch you have to hold the button to dim, so you lose the turning option. Manufacturers have noticed that users are attached to a rotary knob. Robbsmarrt has listened to this and came with a rotary dimmer.

With this dimmer you replace your existing switch material. The beauty of this way is that cover frames can stay the same. This connects nicely to the rest and this also saves money. And of course you keep the turning option to dim. A cover frame and button are also included so that you can also use it separately.

In addition to this function for dimming, you can see the total consumption and current consumption. Good to know how much energy your lamps consume. You can connect a maximum of 600W (incandescent lamp) and 300W with an LED / halogen lamp. In most cases this should be more than sufficient.

We will of course test it with various controllers and do a test with different lamps.

Always enough wires

You can connect this dimmer with 2 or 3 wires. So with or without blue wire. This is nice because not all Dutch recessed boxes have a blue wire.
